Teletherapy

Using our teletherapy solution requires no downloads or applications. We will send you a link so that you can join a session from your computer or phone. Using our secure platform, we encrypt everything and prevent recording.

Teletherapy allows for extremely flexible scheduling, which is essential during such times. Clients can work with us in Washington D.C., Maryland, Virginia and 28 other states*. The effectiveness of teletherapy has been demonstrated in studies, with people reporting high satisfaction with their therapist and their treatment outcome.

Here’s what we recommend for the best experience:

  • If possible, arrange for a private area without anyone within hearing distance. Turn off alarms and any other disturbances if possible.
  • Make sure that you are facing a well-lit area.
  • Computers, tablets, and phones are all acceptable.
  • The latest version of Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, or Safari is recommended.
  • It’s ideal if you can connect to the internet by wire, but not essential, and will provide the best experience. Ask family members not to stream while you’re on your session if you’re using wi-fi.
  • Close any other applications or browser windows.
  • Plug your earphones or earbuds into your device to maintain privacy and improve sound quality.
